How and where are Sugarplum Cupcakes made?
All Sugarplum Cupcakes are home-made in Woodbridge, Suffolk and are baked using the finest ingredients including free-range eggs, Nielsen-Massey Pure Vanilla Extract and locally sourced Marriage's Finest Plain Flour. Where possible we bake cupcakes fresh the same day and if not always within 24 hours of delivery or collection.
How long to Sugarplum Cupcakes last for?
For optimum taste, we recommend that Sugarplum Cupcakes are eaten within 24 hours of baking. However, if stored in an airtight container, vanilla cupcakes can be stored for 2 days and the chocolate cupcakes for 4 days. Do not store Sugarplum Cupcakes in the fridge as the cold temperature will cause the icing and sponge to harden.
Do your cupcakes contain nuts?
There are no nuts used in any of the Sugarplum Cupcake recipes, however the kitchen is not nut-free so there may be traces.
I have a gluten allergy, is it possible to still attend one of your workshops?
Yes of course. Gluten-free cupcakes can be prepared for you to decorate during a cupcake workshops as long as we have prior notice.
My 9 year old would like to learn how to decorate cupcakes, can she attend the cupcake workshop?
Unfortunately, we do have a minimum age of 12 to attend the workshops only because, they are quite fast moving and require concentration. However, exceptions can be made in certain circumstances so feel free to discuss it with me.
